Whichever installation option you decide is right for you, you may still require support with migrating your existing data to your new Pirana CMMS. You may have data relating to your maintenance practices from another CMMS system or even from spreadsheets. If data integration and/or migration are required then let us know and we will be happy to work with you to ensure you get your data migrated in as hassle free way as possible.
1. Install on a single computer
This is the ideal option if you are a small business of one to three users using one machine. The Pirana CMMS software is accessed through a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome for example. The installation software comes with everything you need to get up and running including SQL Express. The software is straightforward to install and we will support you every step of the way.
2. Self hosting
This option is ideal if you are a business that has network capabilities and already have your own SQL hosting. The software is straightforward to install and we will support you or your IT department every step of the way.
3. Shire Hosting
Shire Hosting is an attractive option for many businesses who wish to incur minimal capital outlay when purchasing Pirana CMMS. Shire Systems will manage all the IT infrastructure (servers, routers, switches, firewalls, backup and software) needed. We take away the IT hassles, all those day to day tasks you really don’t want to do such as installing, implementing, updating, supporting and backing up your Pirana CMMS software and data. You will also automatically receive updates to the Pirana software.
